Tressenstein (1201m)

I had a couple of hours of daylight left in the afternoon, so I headed into the unknown to the Tressenstein lookout (1201m) near the town of Bad Aussee. I had no idea that from here I would see probably the second best views of the Salzkammergut. If you're passing through or want to stop somewhere for a while, I definitely recommend it.
It takes about half an hour to get there from the paid parking lot, and bringing your dog is definitely not a problem. On the other side of the parking there is a trail to the top of Trisselwand (1755m). I think I will also climb this peak in the next few years, the views here are great according to the photos.
There is not much more to say, from the viewpoint you have a 360° view of all the surrounding mountains and lakes. In good weather you can take some fantastic photos here and the sunset and sunrise must be absolutely amazing. And just before sunset I still had some time left, so I went back to the car and drove to the lake Altausseer See and took some very nice pictures here too, you can swim in the lake in summer.
The QR code will link you to my route to the viewpoint in the Mapy.cz app.
