My first bike ride in the Alps. Rough, hard and steep, it's nothing else and I didn't expect anything else.
From the town of Lermoos you take the cable car to the top of Grubigstein (2230m) and from there your journey begins. You either rampage straight into the trail park, where you'll find either a very rough trail called Forest Aisle 1 and 2 or the Bachtl flow trail. I didn't really enjoy either one. The biggest attraction is definitely the Blindsee trail, which takes you on a circular ride around a blue lake surprisingly named Blindsee.
The drive down to the lake is really worth it, it's an absolute, carnage if you pace yourself and the views are worth it. The rest of the trip is a bit of a chore though and I didn't enjoy it at all. So overall I rate the area around Lermoos a 7 out of 10.
