Weißsee

An attempt at a new thing that didn't work out, an experiment that didn't work out. Weather and circumstances aren't always on your side, that's life, it happens. I didn't see it, but I can say I was at the Weißsee, it was right in front of me, I think. But I saw Lake Grünsee with my own eyes, which was also very nice except for the weather, that wasn't nice. Normally both lakes can be reached easily by cable car, but in 2023 the lower cable car was not in operation, oh my.

So the most fun that day was taking photos of ourselves in flight at the little nameless lake below the Schafbichl peak (2282m), so who of us can levitate better in the air?

But all bad things were for the best, for it was the source of my new profile photo, which I may still use today. I know that you probably don't care about that and want to know more about the local nature, so I'll put it this way, if you're in Austria somewhere around the High Tauern and the weather works out, you have to come here at any cost, it's beautiful according to the photos on Google or Mapy.cz. I myself plan to come here again sometime and climb at least to the top of Hochfürleg (2942 m).
