Probably some of the most magnificent views of the Lechtaler Alps can be found here. Our expedition took us to Lech rather by chance and it ended up being one of the best experiences of our several day trip.
There are several options for where to go after the cable car ride to the Rufikopf peak (2360m). I would recommend for example the Stuttgarter Hutte or the Wösterspitze peaks. We chose the shortest route to the steep Rüfistpitze peak.
From Lake Monzabonsee you take a short ridge to the rocky massif. Here many may be put off by the ferrata rope at the top of the rock, which you will encounter a few more times on the way. It is definitely not an easy climb and not for inexperienced hikers and non-lovers of heights. I could imagine a ferrata of A/B difficulty here, but you will only encounter the rope in the most exposed sections.
The QR code below will direct you to the route from the cable car to the top of the Rüfistpitz.
