Schleinitz (2904m)
Elevation: 700m / Lenght: 10km / Time: 5h

If you're passing by Lienz (not Linz) sometime in the summer, stop there and take the cable car up to Steinermandl (2213m), from there continue to the beautiful Neulplseen lakes and then to the top of Schleinitz (2904m), either on a rocky trail or on a B/C ferrata called Schleintz Klettersteig. David took the best cow photos of his life here, I bet none of you have such a nice photo of cows on your cell phone.
I could imagine camping in a tent at the lakes and watching the stars in the sky at night and looking for the "big wagon" together, but I have strong concerns that camping is not allowed here, but you know how it goes...
The trail to the top is for experienced hikers only, your grandma really can't do it, so please don't bring her. You actually skip over sharp boulders the whole time until you get to the top, then it's even more fun going down.
As it happens, the clouds prevented us from enjoying the views of the Italian Dolomites and the High Tauern, so after a bit of a rest we headed back again a bit disappointed, but what can you do, tomorrow is also a day.
The QR code will link you to my route in app Mapy.cz (better than Google maps).
