A long easy ferrata of B/C difficulty awaits you on the ascent to the summit of Persailhorn (2347m), if you have enough time, energy and the weather is on your side, you can continue along the ridges to the top of Breithorn 2504m.

I would recommend the south ferrata with sections of difficulty C on the ascent, then the ferrata on the north side of difficulty B on the descent. The sun shines on the south side of the mountain all day, it was definitely warm here and it is handy to have plenty of fluids, you can refill these in the Peter-Wiechenthaler mountain hut.

The descent is long and perhaps quite boring for experienced climbers. If you are not a fan of ferrata, you can take the middle route where you will more or less not encounter a ferrata, but steel ropes will still appear here in a few places, but more as a handrail than a belay. At the top you won't find a cross like on almost every alpine peak but a wooden statue of Madonna of the Persailhorn and that's worth it, but I somehow forgot to take a photo, hehe.
