I didn't know where to put this article, because it belongs partly among ferrata and partly among tips for a trip. The destination is either the ferrata of difficulty C "Zur Schönen Aüssicht" or the mountain hut Kasseler. If you want to see the immaculate nature of the Zillertal Alps, I recommend staying overnight in a mountain hut and exploring the wilderness on your own. You'll see snow-capped 3,000-foot peaks, glaciers such as the Löfflerkees, waterfalls, cows and other animals, and just about everything the Alps and Austria have to offer.

Getting to the ferrata is quite difficult, lengthy and will cost you a few tens of euros. Get on the mini-bus in Mayerhofen, the stop is DIRECTLY in front of the train and bus station (approximately here: 47.1699019N, 11. 8629700E), this will take you to the hut by the Stillup dam, here another smaller mini-bus will be waiting to take you to the Grüne-Wand-Hütte, you can arrange with the driver when he will come and take you back (no later than 16:30). From there walk 2 hours to the Kasseler Hütte mountain hut. You can also get advice on when and from where the mini-buses run from the information centre (47.1688378N, 11.8663203E). The ferrata is just after the mountain hut and is short and easy, C/D is not adequate, it is more or less B/C, but there is a short E section in the overhang, it is difficult but you can climb it in a few seconds and can be bypassed. I wouldn't come here purely for the ferrata.

But the biggest experience was buying a cold beer from the mountain stream, it was a contactless purchase and I didn't even get a receipt, haha.
