Another ferrata paradise near Mayerhofen. Experienced climbers, beginners and families with childrens will have fun here. We chose the B/C and C/D route and the choice was ideal, I probably never had as much fun climbing as here, at least until we reached the Zimmereben hut. There we had lunch, chilled radlers and a free sip of local slivovitz. What's free is good (it wasn't).

But I wanted to continue climbing, because on the next ferrata there was a section of difficulty D/E on the rock face I wanted to try. To get to it was to wade through some longer grass and grates, past a wasps nest where I got a decent sting in my leg, I've never had my leg swell up like that after a sting before. Eventually the place was reached and Lucas took a circular route of C difficulty, but I forgot to tell him that he would be facing a very unpleasant C/D section at the end at a decent height.

For a while he thought he was going to die, but in the end he made it, and supposedly he realized many important things, so for me it met all expectations, haha, Lucas became a seasoned ferratist.
