If you're looking for a relaxing stroll that even your grandma can enjoy, then Lake Eibsee is the right choice. You can spend the whole day here or take a quick 2-hour walk and continue on your way. Either way, this place is worth a stop.

You can swim in the lake in the summer, hardy people can of course also swim in the spring or autumn, and in the winter you can ice skate, the possibilities are endless, haha. The lake is frequented by tourists and locals all year round in all weathers. In the morning, however, you will find your peace here.

The best Instagram spot, however, is not any of the views of Lake Eibsee, but the lake on the other side of the road called Frillensee. Parking is paid and not exactly the cheapest, for a full day it will be around 10 euros in 2024, I think 3 hours cost me 8 euros.
