The most famous and for me the best view of Garda Lake, even though it's not the easiest spot to get to.

The problem started right at the beginning. The entrance to the town of Pregasina and the parking lot of Saint George Church is open only to guests and locals from spring to autumn. It is also open to guests of the Albergo Rosalpina restaurant, but whether they will let you park there for more than the duration of your visit to the restaurant is difficult to say. The nearest parking lot is located at these coordinates (45.8566239N, 10.8299075E), but it can only fit 4 cars. If you'd like to be among the lucky ones, you'll have to leave very early in the morning. We took our chances and ignored the entry ban. According to the frequency of parking placards outside the windows, at least half of all the cars should not have been parked there. No tickets have arrived yet, but I'd say the chances were about 50/50.

At a fairly brisk pace we were at the viewpoint within an hour. The haze that hung over the lake spoiled the photos a bit, but it was still worth it. The reputation of being the best viewpoint on Garda is justified, make sure to go there.
