There is no need to tell too much about this place, anyone who has heard of the Dolomites has certainly heard of Seceda. Again, this is one of those places that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime.

You can take the Furnes cable car almost to the viewpoint for 45 euros, or 400 metres down the Col Raiser cable car for 30 euros and walk a bit. The third option, of course, is to walk straight up from the car park. We chose the second option. The weather didn't quite work out for us. It was overcast, the landscape was in a grey haze and it started to drizzle lightly. There was a very strong wind blowing on the ridge, we were barely able to hold our cameras. Decent training for the weather in Iceland.

But it had its charm. This gloomy weather gave Seceda a different feel and we enjoyed the short 3 hour trip. You could easily spend the whole day here or just a couple of hours. Depending on whether you head further into the mountains or take the shortest route back to the cable car. In our case, the short circuit to Cason de Pieralongia and back was chosen.
